Remarkable You and Stampin' Blends

Hi Everyone!

Two posts in 2 days???  It's amazing! lol.  I have a lot to say about this card....  First of all the Stamp Set - Remarkable You.  I just love it.  The flowers are nice and big and not too fussy.  And speaking of fussy, did you notice I actually fussy cut this card?  If you know me at all you know I do not like to fussy cut anything.  Give me a punch or framelit any day of the week.  But with this set the fussy cutting is fairly easy, easy enough that I did it twice and even did the leaves.

So onto the coloring...  For the background I used one of my new favorite products from the Occasions Catalog - Brusho!  When I first saw this I didn't think I needed it but boy was I wrong.  I honestly ordered on a whim and I am so glad I did.  It's sooooo much fun to use and you can use it in so many different ways.  For this card I just sprinkled a little on my watercolor paper background and then spritzed some water over the top and let it dry.  I tend to be a bit heavy handed with the Brusho but I held myself back for this sample.

Now for my favorite part - the Stampin' Blends...  I used the Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive markers and just blended until I got the looks that I wanted.  The markers are so easy to use and it always seems to come out so pretty no matter what I working on.  In my opinion they are well worth the investment.

Hope you enjoy!
